Our goal is to provide BIWOC business owners and entrepreneurs with the tools and support they need to confidently pursue their entrepreneurial dreams. By offering workshops, mentorship programs, networking opportunities, and access to funding sources, we aim to create a more equitable landscape for women of color in business. Together, we can transform the world of entrepreneurship into a space where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
Our vision is to advance existing and aspiring women of color as business owners by increasing access to opportunities that position them to thrive and achieve their full potential in business.
Our mission is to create pathways for women of color by breaking down barriers to information, business resources, technology, and connection through support groups. Together, we will create a community that fosters growth, collaboration, and economic growth.
Introducing Jennifer Richardson, a dynamic force in the business arena with a wealth of experience spanning over 15 years as a seasoned business growth strategist and accomplished entrepreneur. Yet, it’s not merely her impressive professional journey that defines Jennifer; it’s her unwavering commitment to championing and uplifting women entrepreneurs that truly sets her apart.
With an infectious energy and a genuine passion for empowering fellow female business owners, Jennifer’s mission goes beyond conventional success. Her goal is to reshape the path to success for women in business, introducing a fresh success model that doesn’t exclude the actual woman. Success, in her vision, transcends mere financial gain; it encompasses cultivating businesses that not only generate income but also align with the life one aspires to lead and contribute to the lasting legacy one wishes to create.

Aims to remove barriers to technology, including affordability, connectivity, and literacy, to exponentially increase BIWOC’s access to digital resources and innovative tools
Centers around a person’s ability to create a mindset that promotes harmony within themselves and in their business through intentional wellness and growth mindset practices
Locally, according to a 2022 study by the Dallas Business Journal, there are an estimated 10,000 BIWOC entrepreneurs in Dallas. These businesses employ over 50,000 people and generate over $1 billion in annual revenue. The study concluded that BIWOC entrepreneurs are a vital part of the Dallas economy and that they play an important role in creating jobs and driving economic growth.
Nationally, according to Statistics from the American Express “The State of Women-Owned Businesses 2019, 5.4 million firms are majority-owned by women of color in the U.S. These firms employ 2.1 million people and generate $361 billion in revenues annually.
Women of color entrepreneurs encounter a multitude of challenges that stem from both gender and racial biases. They often face limited access to resources, capital, mentorship, technology, and networks, hindering their business growth. Additionally, cultural stereotypes and biases can create barriers to opportunities and equal treatment. These challenges necessitate targeted and tailored support systems. Through targeted support, these women are not only given opportunities but also the tools and resources necessary to transform challenges into successes. This approach not only benefits individual entrepreneurs but also contributes significantly to building a more inclusive and prosperous global business community.
We believe that over the next 3-5 years this summit will have a significant social impact as Pathways provides resources to enable growth in our attendee’s personal growth and leadership as business owners and entrepreneurs. As a result, this impactful change will directly influence manifest in:
